Center Activity 3: Dramatic Play
Create an interactive beach day at home. Get out those beach towels, inflatable floaties, bathing suites, and sunglasses and build a beach in your very own home! Make a tropical snack such as fruit salad and enjoy it on your beach towels. Pretend to be at the beach with your child. Turn on audio that sounds like the waves, or seagulls. Talk about what animals you might see at the beach. Get out stuffed animals that would live at the beach or toys you would use at the beach. Pretend to build sandcastles or go outside and build one of your own if you have a sandbox available. Be creative and have fun!!
Center 4: Make a Beach Snack
If you have the materials at home, see if you can make one of the snacks in the beach art activity! Send a picture to your teacher so they can see your awesome work!
